Finer tipped biot pliers for smaller sized flies and materials. With the ring/handle oriented perpendicular to the jaws, the biot pliers can securely hold biots flat and properly oriented to the hook.

By keeping the biot in this position, the pliers keep the biot flat on the hook, which reduces twist and possible breakage for these fragile materials.
